![]() ![]() The bonuses feature karaoke which is always fun enough when you're in the mood, but the revelation was the activity of being able to write to a Princess and they reply back, which I think is a contender for the most fun bonus activity for any of the Disney sing alongs. I also loved the life lessons, with Belle(best way to see someone is to see them for what they truly are), In Harmony(everybody is different which makes life more fun and exciting) and Where Do I Go From Here(consider and listen to advice but also follow your heart), and how they were conveyed without preaching. While the music is the star, the animation is beautiful mostly with Belle and Golden Afternoon most impressive, all the characters are delightful and the singing especially Jodi Benson in In Harmony is lovely. ![]() It's Not Just Make Believe is a nice addition. The real gems however are the adorable Cinderella Work Song, the impossible-to-get-out-of-your-head Whistle While You Work and the lushly harmonised Golden Afternoon. In Harmony is one of the most inspiring songs I've heard, and of the direct to video offerings the best are Where do I go from here, which always tugs at my heartstrings and Out of Thin Air, which is not quite A Whole New World but very beautiful. Apart from these, there are some real Disney gems here. ![]() This one is no exception, I personally didn't care for It's What Inside That Counts(really uninspired and rushed sounding), A Little Thought(good message, but forgettable) or Here on the Land and Sea(forgettable), and Lesson Number One is just okay(I Want To Be Like Other Girls is the best song of that film though). They are all very entertaining and I think educational. I have made no secret of liking/loving the Disney sing alongs. ![]()
